The Fast Track To Great Photography
Photography has become much more accessible to a wider range of people than ever before, mostly thanks to affordable digital cameras.

But having a digital camera doesn’t necessarily equate to great pictures all the time. Have you ever wondered why when you see a great scene in front of you that it is really difficult to reproduce in the camera? Do you wish you knew what all those different modes and buttons on your Digital SLR are for? And then once you’ve got yourself a great picture, how can you make it even better on the computer? What program should you use? What about printing and emailing? Storage and back-ups?

So many questions. Where do you begin?

Sure, a lot of people will tell you to read the online forums or get a book, because there is undoubtedly a lot of good information available from those resources, but the thing is, learning by instruction from somebody else is still the most effective method of teaching known to man. I mean, unless you’re a savant or just really determined, you’re not going to get a Degree without going to at least a few classes.

So this is why I have decided to make myself available to anybody who would like to learn photography from me in much the same way as you learned how to read and write, or do complicated arithmetic. By personal instruction. I’ll teach you everything I know, or everything you need to know (after 10 years in this game I have accumulated quite a wealth of knowledge, so I might not be able to share it all in only a few lessons).

Below is a breakdown of what is on offer:

One on One Lessons
As implied you will get lessons on a personal basis from me. We can make these lessons as informal or structured as you’d like.

Availability:
Weekdays 8am – 2pm
Evenings 6.30pm – 9pm
Sunday 9am – 1pm

Costs:
Daytime Lessons @ R100 per hour (R50 per additional half-hour)
Evening Lessons @ R120 per hour (R60 per additional half hour)

Group Lessons
If groups of people would like to band together to share costs I am more than happy to accommodate up to 6 people per group. My normal rate will apply, plus a R50 surcharge per additional student.
